Their innovative solar projects are designed to provide clean, efficient, and reliable energy. They are expanding the team in Berlin and looking for a dedicated Solar Engineer to contribute to the design and implementation of their cutting-edge solar projects.
Position Overview: As a Solar Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. You will work closely with the project managers, construction teams, and clients to ensure that our solar solutions meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop solar PV systems, including system layout, electrical design, and component selection.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine optimal system configurations and locations.
- Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for solar projects.
- Coordinate with project managers and construction teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Perform system performance analysis and troubleshooting to ensure optimal operation.
- Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, standards, and safety requirements.
- Provide technical support during the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV systems.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in solar technology and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solar solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in solar PV system design and engineering.
- Proficiency in solar design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, power electronics, and grid integration.
- Experience with site assessments, system sizing, and performance modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
